Name badges at socials??? I'm useless at remembering names (hence the name Dory from Finding Nemo) and sometimes too shy to approach someone I fancy  but would be able to message later if I clocked the name! |

But if every body had a name tag wouldnt u all have your phones out looking up the that person in the club ? Isn't that what a social is about talking to people and then introducing yourself who u are on the site ....... That's my opinion  |

Everyone will have to make and take their own name tags. I am lucky if I can read them by the end of the night as have a job to focus on a face let alone a name tag lol x |

I think it's a brilliant idea if the social was in a swinging club.
However in the venue where this social is held and you mingle with regular users as in the smoking area and also some people use the main bar area to get a drink is this advisable???
As I'm sure management or staff or even the regulars aren't going to want to see half the names some of us use.
Plus it's ment to be down to discretion as well.

Socials and munches always used to have name badges.
I have about 20 from previous events. They are all different and all tailored to the event. A lot of effort used to be put into them.
My favourite is a glow in the dark one from a munch in 2006. |
