In theory, England should be WC and RBS 6 Nations champs every time. As a nation they have the best funding, most participants, registered teams etc etc. Pretty much goes the same for Football.
Thankfully sport is not like that though! |

"Well done for winning it. Country mile??? Keep dreaming!!! Your just keeping the cup warm for usGood luck out in Australia your going to need it. "
Would agree that England wasn't the best team by a country mile. If they need luck in Australia, we'll need a miracle to survive New Zealand |

Yes but at least us Welshmen and women have a grip of reality . History has showed Welsh rugby has over achieved in comparison to England. With the resources available to them England really should be winning the Six Nations by "a country mile" every season but reality says we are almost equally as successful with far fewer resources and far fewer players available to us. See you next year England |

Resources help i'd guess but looking at sporting history it doesn't mean a great deal.. Jamaican sprinters, Kenyan long distance runners, and in Football Greece and Denmark for instance have won the Euros.
These countries don't have great resources to improve the athletes and they do ok.
Oh not forgetting Leicester city at the moment having the season of there lives. |

What I'm saying is that with
the resources that England have available to them in many sports including Rugby and football then they really should be doing a lot better than they are rather than bigging themselves up for beating little old Wales once in a while and Wales punch well above their weight in sporting terms as do, like you say, Kenyan athletes, Greek and Danish footballers among other small nations. Wjy is that I wonder? |

I personally think managers and back room staff have a lot to do with it.. right training and tactics, you can have the best players in the world but with shit tactics and poor motivation you'll win nothing but in the other hand an average team with a great manager has half a chance, just my opinion, money has very little to do with it again just my opinion. |

Some people can't help but gloat when they win
And sore losers who can't admit that their team just weren't the best and actually played SHIT
But hey it's only a game and the best team won ha ha |

I did say well done for winning it. Well deserved. Wouldn't say we played shit though, we did score three tries to your one and the deficit was a mere 4 points. England played better on the day though. Hope your as magmanimous in defeat as you are bombastic in victory. We still knocked you of the group stages of the World Cup on your home ground though. That will keep us going for a while |

Yes it's a game but when you have played it and lived it for many years it feels like more than a game (there goes that welsh passion again, we can't help it you see). That's the beauty of sport there's always tomorrow or the next time or in this case the next Six Nations. Looking forward to it but there's the little matter of the All Blacks for us this summer first and the Aussies for you after our little "FRIENDLY" in Twickenham come May. |

"Wales is still the best
Bless you keep telling yourself that lol "
Sorry I agree with lush on this Wales are far from the better side, mayb as individuals but as a team and squad England under Eddie Jones are only gonna get fitter and stronger.
He's not only a great coach but also a great man-management person that's why the rfu spent so much money on employing him.
Unlike gatland, Jones knows how to influence games and also change tactics, let's players express themselves on pitch not just stick to boring up the middle rugby |
