After seeing people at socials, parties ,clubs ect and then looking at their pictures on their profile I do wonder how many use photoshop.
I dont have any pictures on my profile as I dont meet people unless I know them or meet Ive them at socials and parties.
They can see me in they flesh and know what they are getting.
Ive been burnt by meeting people who are way older than their pics or who have put on about 5 stone since they where taken. Its not like Im not going to notice when I meet them. |

No photo shop here. Only thing that changes about me is my hair colour. Well actually I have very little hair after giving myself a no 1 on the weekend. Oh well it will grow back x |

Everyone wants to look the best at pictures - u can't blame people for it.
And it is not only photoshop - usually the light and angle make more difference.
I had very glamorous pics of my myself, but when I was meeting people, I never used them - that is why my profile is filled with just phone shoot.
I wouldn't want to be in situation when someone is saying ' you look much hotter in your profile' |

In the past I've been stung so many times.
From not looking like you are ment to be, to people who big themselves up so much you actually meet them and thing "really".
So don't meet now unless I've met at socials, clubs or parties |

Only tool on photoshop I use is the filters I like black and white or the sepia ones other that what's the point. People wanna meet the real you not a photo edited version they aren't gonna really get on the meet |

i'm an ex photographer.had a studio and used photoshop all the time . to cover zits and horrendous make up.
lighting and makeup and the right lens will improve the photo a lot ..but as the old saying goes ...You can not make a silk purse out of a sows ear.
i've noticed many photos of people with 2 or more chins do selfies from above their head to hide the multiple chins. but if its for a profile you will have to meet up face to face sooner or later so just take a shot and hope for the best. there is way too much emphasis on pics in my opinion. |
