Are there any normal regular spots where like minded people go just for drinks and socializing in cardiff.

Yes there is a cardiff night out being organised for April. We all meet in a pub and then some move onto a club. There are regular socials held in newport, Swansea and Bridgend however you have to be verified to attend these events.
