swapping phone numbers

"Would you or wouldn't you swap phone numbers after messaging for 3 weeks..and 2 days be4 a meet?"
Everyone is different, certain people have different styles. I have even met a couple who don't send photographs but are verified and meet in a public place (the verifications did say she was stunning).
If I am ever in doubt then I call if off. Are they recently verified, do they BOTH meet (if its a couple), are they evasive. The signs are always there.

I have learnt the hard way. I don't give my number out now we give andys out. I have had single females who turn out to be men messaging me offering me money for sex. I have had the male half of a couple we met constantly message asking to meet us/me alone. |

If you give your number out ensure you have the ability to block numbers on your phone, it's no fun getting booty calls at silly time in the morning from pissed guys, wanting to visit you with their mates

We have been chatting for 3 weeks.....arranged a meet for tomorrow which I have to drive over 2 hrs to his..think the least he could Av done is give me his phone number for the journey or a chat be4 ... |

Plenty of ways of communicating for people who don't wish to exchange numbers such as Kik but ultimately they don't entrust you with a mobile number, then I'd be cautious about them. |

 crikey!! I guess building a rapport before disclosing such information is the key. Hopefully you'll get some idea of the type of person they are at an early stage. |

Unless you knew and completely trusted a man, I would put my house on you getting treated like this at some point if you give out your number.
These days with mobile data there are plenty of ways to stay in touch while traveling to a met.
It's a bit strange that he wouldn't give you his number and certainly a good reason for you not to go, since there would be no good reason for him to refuse.
If you were prepared to drive for two hours, then a basic £30 pay as you go phone would be a wise investment. To avoid being harassed in the middle of night. TBH I'm rather shocked and ashamed that other men treat women on this site like that |

Last time I gave a number out) after chatting for a few weeks and meeting a couple of times), I noticed they only ever seemed to contact me when THEY wanted fun.. When I asked, it was always a BS excuse.. Since I've changed sim and never give my number out.. There's no need to when you can all message through site.. |
