Looks like I'll be on my own this year.. family miles away and I have to work probably every day except the big day! It's just one day, just have to enjoy the day off and hope it doesn't rain!! Seeing family in a week so all not lost. |

Apart from the food of course there are times I wish I could have Christmas on my own! The years of having to keep everyone happy not upsetting anyone by choosing one parent over the other. Then when I was married thinking it would be easier, oh god no pleasing 3 sets of families then!!
Desert island would be nice! |

Out of the 12 Years I have worked in Iraq I have only had 2 Christmases at home with my Family and Friends.
So this time of year is a bit lonely for me, however I do get home on the 5th January yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay |

I've recently split up from my partner and my daughter will be going to her dad's at dinner time so I've decided to go and volunteer at the local homeless hostel. I've had invitations to both sets of parents but one has no alcohol and the other has too much!! |
