That's because its run by businessmen not sportsmen.
If product on pitch is shit and money not reinvested properly then welsh regional level will always struggle.

Ospreys are the only true region in Wales. Blues, Scarlets and Dragons are just Cardiff, Llanelli and Newport in disguise... all of whom thought they were bigger than the game and deserved to stand alone. In the cases of Cardiff and Llanelli the WRU (in their infinite wisdom) agreed with them lest they throw the toys out of the pram, and Newport did a dirty trick on Ebbw Vale to oust them from having any input. Ospreys are a true merge between Neath and Swansea (bitter rivals) but buried the hatchet for the betterment of Welsh rugby. The less said about the shameful treatment of Pontypridd the better...!!! |

Merthyr are on the up!! Only prob is they're investing in a golf buggy to stretcher players off so that's Andy Powell fucked! He won't know whether to run up the wing or hot wire the thing and drive!!  |
