Any thoughts on the changes Gats has made?? I think it looks like a fucking brilliant starting line up. Anscombe, Tips, Chateris, Paul James and Samson Lee all brought in to start and George North switched to centre. Bring on the Wallabies!!   |

It's a bit of a nothing game really but it's nice to see tips and Warburton starting together with hooper out I think we might just edge the breakdown and with tips in chances are we will see some good breaks and the chance to actually get the wingers involved in the world cup lol |

Lol I mean it's a nothing game as it doesn't really matter who we get in the quarters I think we're through to the semis already it's a very useful way for gatland to find out how different players manage against quality opposition and in different positions also |

Definitely not a nothing game. The outcome will depend who we play in the quarters.
Anyone wanting to watch a nothing game can pop over to the Etihad at 8pm on Saturday

The forwards look strong but behind we are weak cuthbart shouldn't be in squad let alone team George is playing out of position in a must win game and dont rate anscome and we play Liam on wing instead of fullback. And we must win to ensure we stay away from a strong SA and the blacks |

ouch lol im looking forward to the game im just not bothered by who wins as i think we will beat whoever we face in the quarter finals, australia will be a tough game and it should be a good game to watch
we could end up playing japan scotland or south africa and i dont think we have anything to fear off any of them to be honest i would be more concerned about wales facing japan than south africa as we always seem to struggle against unpredictable opposition.
it is however a nothing game, nothing much depends on it we are through to the quarter finals and whoever we play next doesnt really matter its not going to be easy so pffffffff lol
and if we did eventually go on to win the thing i would much rather play all the hardest teams otherwise the english will just say we had it easy, whereas when they won the world cup they just bored teams to death and relied on johnny one foot lol |

I think it's an incredibly brave and attacking selection. The only change I'd have made is to leave George on the wing and Tyler in the centre and dropped Cuthbert altogether. The poor guy is in such poor form if you put him on the bench he'd probably fall off and injure himself. There's a lot of beef in the back line so I think Gats is more worried about their centres than their wingers. Pack looks as good as we can hope for. Tips and Warbs in harmony will be something to look forward to and Luke deserved a starting place. All things considered we've got a good chance I reckon. Aussies won't see that team as a walk over by any stretch of the imagination. |

it shows gatland is thinking about the wallabies strengths and weaknesses.He is looking to attack and not sit back and show them too much respect. maybe looking to draw in their centres and then get the ball out wide?

The aussies looked superb against england tips had to play this game to keep poecock quiet and its a MASSIVE bonus that hooper and falau are out of the game only change i would make is kick cuthbuttttt out he is struggling for form and he cant tackle for shit anyway huge game i got goosebumps already |

It's not a nothing game at all - will decide who we play in the quarters.
I do love George, but his defence isn't great. Worry he'll be exposed at 13. Cuthbert weak defensively too, and I prefer Liam at 15.
Tips is great at the breakdown, but so is Gethin and he's out, so that cancels out, I think.
Miss P - don't mean to be negative. I just think Oz's excellent backs and advanced running lines may have a field day against that backline. |

Lol! I would prefer to play either Scotland or Japan to South Africa in the quarters. South Africa have already played their worst game, blew it and suffered - they won't make that mistake again and will be very difficult to beat.. But nothing is impossible - go Wales!!! |

Ffs ppl were in the quarter finals I don't care if we play south Africa Japan or Scotland I personally think we will beat any of them and whoever we get in the semis it's going to be a hard game, and to be completely honest getting to the semi finals again would be an amazing achievement given the injury problems we have had so would deem that a success myself, so whilst the majority of u are being negative and trying to avoid south Africa for some bizarre reason (what quality opposition have they actually faced?) I don't care who we play !!
