Thought it was quite poor myself, need a really good result against Fiji coz England and Australia will put more points on them than that, cuthbert needs catching practise and in general the whole team needs to brush up on basic skills and discipline.
But other than that a great result lol |

Deffo could have done with more points on the board. I thought some play was a little sloppy to be honest. Hopefully they will have got all the little teething problems out of their system in that first game and will come back sharper and stronger next week.
Here's hoping anyway. Good luck to our boys.

Totally agree but as you say
I think it's the first game so hopefully play a lot tighter next time but we have to do a lot better than that to get through |

Can't see us beating England tbh.
Yes, we have players to come in, but the quality on the England bench is massively better than us.
They have real game changers to come in after the hour mark. Even if we are in touch then, most likely that'll finish us off.
Also, the skills set and ability to execute the game plan amongst many of the players is worryingly poor. Much like Hook, people like Matthew Morgan because he "looks good" and makes breaks. Unfortunately, it's not the 70/80s any more. He has always been a poor passer of the ball.
Best chance we have is if Garces suddenly picks up on Marler's scrummaging In the way Gethin's was in 2014. Unlikely though, given the latter will be on the pitch too.
England by 15 for me, though I hope I'm wrong. |
