On my 3rd day without a ciggie and just been to buy an e cig as was starting to get a bit edgy. Nights out on the piss will be the hardest I guess. I did manage 6 weeks last year but then went back to it. Positive stories or advice most welcome |

Keep telling yourself you don't smoke and remind yourself of the benefits of not smoking.
Put the money you would normally spend on cigarettes in a jar and watch how quickly it fills up. You can treat yourself to something nice instead.
Every time you crave one do something else until it passes. Pep talk yourself on the reasons you don't want to smoke and congratulate yourself when you don't give in to temptation. The first few weeks are hard but you will feel a great sense of achievement each day you get through without smoking.
Tell yourself you've done 3 days already what's the sense in backtracking now. You've proved you can resist so keep going?
Crafe away are really cheap and look like a cigarette if you miss the physical part of smoking.
If you do lapse don't dwell on it and just start again. Easy to give in to it when you have a drink but you will be chuffed if you don't.
You'll smell and taste better for it too.
Can you tell I used to smoke (ex smokers are the worst).
Most of all, well done for getting this far and good luck. Xxx |

I (lola) give up smoking 2 years ago, with the help of an ecig, couldn't smoke a cigarette again now if I tried. I just get to get off this damn ecig now, but I think its breaking the habit more than anything.
Good luck chick, its not easy but stick with it x |

Well down for wanting to give up smoking. However dont replace it with Ecigs. Watch over the next 2-3 for the evidence to come out. And they aren't even properly licensed. |

I've saved over six thousand quid in two years from giving up.
Here's my tips that helped me, Do a progress spreadsheet or each day write down how much you have saved, it will really spur you on.
Invest in some good vape equipment and it will pay dividends. Start on 18 milligram of nicotine and over a long period work your way down. Experiment with the flavours until you find one you like. take your e-cig out with you when you're out for a drink. get out of the habit of going outside for a smoke with other people. Don't panic if you go out the pub and have a smoke though. Just make sure the next you get back on the vape the next day.
Concentrate on all the good things it's going to do for you. health, money, smelling nice etc etc
I bought something really expensive with the money i saved.
Good luck
