Whos here from north wales? Forums seem full of the ladies and gents from down south, not that i have a problem with that its just a bit far to travel  |

I'm near mold, yes the forum is very southern biased but that must be led by the number of "them" relative to "us".
If people post on here with north Wales posts then more would join in.
As for socials, I believe the Chester social is more of a Chester & north Wales event.

If it is socials you want, but there aren't any in your area, then how about organising one instead of just moaning about the lack of... all the other socials happen because good people get off their backsides and do something about it. big undertaking I know, but someone has to get the ball rolling. |

Happy to set up a social gathering in North Wales. A few rules though.
1) it is based in my bedroom
2) only girls allowed ( that includes heamaphrodites)
3) all guests must be dressed as smurfs. |

We'd be interested in meeting attractive younger couples from North Wales. Happy to travel a reasonable distance for the right people plus we are planning more trips to swingers clubs in Birmingham which is in the middle.
I don't believe in the North/South divide. We all live i Wales x |

Pennant hall, is easy to get too a few minutes off the A55. You can arrange for a private night. Speak to them they can only suggest or advice.
For a good social, there needs to be a host, some sort of games or events (adult themed, lol) to start the thing off, get people mixing, then they can sort themselves out, lol. |

the problem is, most people won't be willing to travel the 3-4 hrs to get from south to north or north to south. A lot of people seem to want short notice meets and only travel half am hour tops. |

Without poopooing anyone's ideas. There are a few socials already in North Wales. Genuine swingless and swingers attend them. Not so easy if you're half a couple playing away, or need to be so discreet that no one can see you, not even your meet....
Simplest way, but not the best way, someone suggests a pub and date. Make it a popular pub that's busy at the time suggested... but that's not what people really want (I know assumptions) they want a dovil with fun and games, ice breakers and the chance to play....
Hence the clubs...

It would be just easier to meet on the Wirral with mostly genuine . North Wales is really very barren when it comes to finding genuine . People from here mainly want your photograph and then block you.Professional people from North Wales tend to use swingers clubs further more some swingers here want you to be 6 foot 7 before they would consider meeting up with you what's all this about . Possibly that kind of person should really start looking at other freaky web sites or get a job .Realistically move on from here

I have already mentioned the pub idea during the day, say one lunchtime...I know wetherspoons pubs let you hire rooms for nothing ....but its not true that you need to have games and suchlike....I have friends in south wales who organise afternoon tea socials and all kinds of different things, singles socials as well as its a chance for newbies to get verified....you cant be drawing attention to a group of people in a pub during the day by playing adult games!! |

I really liked how the Newport social was arranged. Those with some verifications showed interest in attending on the thread that have the general day and geographic location. They were then added to the guest list and PM'd with the venue and time.
Stops a whole bunch of randoms and chancers crashing it or taking snaps of the attendees. Also gives you a good idea on likely numbers so you know if you'll need a function room or just the corner of a quiet pub. |

You should look up the definition sometime....

Pub meets have been done, around llandudno, Bangor, Mullbury in conwy, wrexham even colwyn bay.
Attended them, not Wrexham. People sitting around talking and drinking, I know, a typical social event. Once you have been to a few the novelty wears off. People want to meet and discuss swinging, sex, fun, adult fun and games as part of the entertainment and the potential to play.
People just want mates to go around town, that's what facebook is about.
And you will see lots of extra men trying to work out which is the adult group.
Penant hall does socials, also a adult club. PM/email me if you would like to be introduced to it. No expectations either way.
I enjoy sexual environment, sexual charged people, discussing sexual topics.... not every day mind lol....

Agree with comment about a social in a witherspoon, easy to mingle.
There have been meets mentioned on here before regarding evening meets.I remember one was at Llandudno with the idea that there are many hotels for people to sort carry on the party after if they so choose.
Think October/November would be good time as hotels may be less busy.

Have offered to team up with a few people and organise an event in mid wales. .. newtown or Llandrindod or similar. .. without interest it isn't worth it...
Just needs a few committed people to come every time and it would be successful. |

the big problem with organising anything in north wales is the lack of good transport links. As not everyone drives and buses are impractical and trains only service the busier places....it would be a nightmare for me to get anywhere that wasn't on a bus route and I would not particularly want to organise or attend a social where I live as its such a small place

Pennant Hall is a good place to socialise as well as the swinging side of the place. Chester social hold good events, fab camp this year was brilliant. If more north people use what we have then there would be more of a chance to arrange more socials. We at Pennant have had a few social night and parties in the past with one being arranged for Halloween (more details to follow)
As for swinging for couples only get a life swinging is for all that's the point of it. Otherwise join a dating site

Hi,
we're North Wales too, Wrexham.
We've been to socials organised on other sites but not to any that have been organised on FAB yet.
We've always tended to get a hotel and stay over when we've been to socials as none of them have really been near enough to travel home after and it's nice to have a night or two away anyhow |

I still think its possible for a social to happen but only if its a daytime one and its a non playing one...ie, meet in a pub somewhere easily accessible for a bite to eat and a chat one lunchtime...
that way there is no pressure on anyone to do anything they don't feel comfortable with |

I've had a look at public transport and it's about £16 return by train from Flint to Conwy.
It's mid way on the coast so most people should be able to get to it.

The week after half term, so those little ones can get out and about
I've had a look at public transport and it's about £16 return by train from Flint to Conwy.
It's mid way on the coast so most people should be able to get to it.
Please pm me if interested
If I get more than ten committing to come along then I'll reserve a table in a local tavern

Irish = micks
Welsh = Taff's
North Welsh = gogs
Englsh = regional nicknames
It's a military thing and spilled into everyday.
Do Jocks and mucks have their own terms for different parts?

Well, it was suggested that you arrange the social, then you could have picked a time and place that would have suited yourself

Maybe we can all sort one out, then the one with the most people will deemed to the successful one..... after all its just a social, few drinks, chat, laugh, as dif fervent people come across different online as they do in real life.... see some statuses for proof.... |

do the good people of north wales not realise that there is a chatroom?
I would much rather chat in a chat room than via a forum thread...
I can go for days without looking on here as it is so slow but I go in the chat room most days AND that is why I would rather get on a train and travel south for a social, as I have chatted to more people from South Wales than I have ever done so from North Wales even though I live here |

I've been here two months recently moved up chatted to many lovely couples and females who give all the front about meeting, posting meets. Get good rappor, they agree to meet them go silent and rudely ignore.
I think there's a lot of people here who like the idea of swinging not actually swinging.
Single males get such a bad name on here, but many others just go un noticed. It's a shame |

If you north walians are still interested in socials etc .
Chester Socials are hosting a Mardi Gras themed christmas party on friday 11th December at Pennant hall ending approx. 2am. Dress to impress. There will be games and prizes and the possibility of staying over so don't need to worry about late night transport...
