"Oh never been but would love to!! "
Just go for it, there is a caravan park close by with a shop, bar and chippy. Got all life's essentials close by, but pack a towel and suncream. Everything else you can get |

"as far as I know, there is no nudist camp site, just the beach, and a nearby site (near the car park) so I wouldn't book in and erect ones' tent in the nude lol you might get swiftly thrown off! "
There is a camp site called dennis's field, it's not a nudist camp but there is a corner (opposite corner to the entrance to the field) where nudists gather. Just put up a wind breaker to protect the other camp users from viewing you.
very basic toilet and fresh running water. There is no shower block so be prepared to freshen up, with a bowl of water warmed on a camp stove, sponge and the a bar of soap. There is a caravan site next door but you can't use there cleaning facilities there is a sign specifically forbidding this. But you can use their grocery store, bar and chippy.
It's a tent only field, so if you have a camper Just erect a tent next to the camper, just to comply with dennis's license.
It's £8/night just turn up and pitch, dennis's will wander around early morning or evening to collect your fee.
When you approach Morfa dyffryn caravan park, dennis's field is on the right just before you get to the Caravan park , there is a proper nudist camp on the left with a high stone wall, but his rip off reputation is legendary. Avoid this place. |

Proper naturism isn't like a swinging club. It's a lot less predatory. you might find a few Meerkats Wandering around Trying to catch a peek, but they are harmless enough.
Take a wind break with you, it can be breezy at times. |

We always camp on shell island not a nude site just a good cheap site with all you ever need.then walk down the beach for about 20 min to the nude site.
stopped at the other sites and not really for us. but the beach is great.
hope the weather is good on the bank holiday |

Friday is supposed to rain by Saturday should be nice, although it is well reported that barmouth has its own microclimate, which I have seen, as soon as you turn that corner at barmouth to get to the other side of the mountains, the weather practically flips to the other side of the coin lol. |

Yeah, it's great. I just mean I'm not one for doing the meerkat thing.
It's lovely to just relax on the beach. I'm a sociable guy, but do find it a bit weird in that setting - is it ok to say hello when someone is close or will they think you are are after something! It actually feels very "British" - very much "morning, lovely weather" when I have been there.
Hoping to give it a go today, but not looking too promising today. Let's hope the microclimate mentioned earlier is favourable! |

Lovely day there today.
Interesting insight into what it must be like to be a woman or couple there though.
It was getting towards late afternoon and I'd been on the beach all day (I'm not a meerkat and I was there to relax)!
It was quiet there and a bloke came and lay down a bit closer than felt comfortable given it's massive bloomin beach.
Could kinda sense him looking over. Eventually buckled and glanced over to see him using poppers and "launching Captain Picard into warp speed".
Me being nice and all that, I shook my head at him and got on with reading my book (by the way, if reading a Philip Roth novel is code for "I may be on the beach not the dunes, and not in the gay area, but I want you badly", someone please tell me).
Next thing he's standing next to me and still launching Captain Picard. A firm "I'm not effing interested" and he scurried off like Gollum (he honestly did remind me of him - I don't think he was "all there" tbh).
He went off a got far to close to a couple on the edge of the dunes then - I felt for them.
It didn't bother me afterwards, but it was a bit of an eye-opener (though I tried to keep mine shut, or at least averted) - was surprised it was so blatant in the beach tbh

As for the beach, I'm afraid it will be spoilt by those who are blatently selfish, and think everyone there is 'up for it'. It has led to frontline local newspaper reporting and police beach patrolling. I know the beach well, but don't use it for the same reasons people on here do, purely for the reasons stated. Meeting people via here is one thing, but what goes on there is really just not my thing. Each to their own. |

Went to Morfa Dyffryn the other day - constantly surrounded by men who wanted to just sit and look at me but nobody wanted to talk and nobody wanted to play - a real mood-killer.
Fortunately I met some good friends there by chance, which save my day.
In future I'm just going to go to enjoy the sun, and am keeping away from anything to do with play...

"It's always a bit nervy as a single male to approach a naked single female you don't want to come across as a pest"
Just be nice, give a friendly smile and say Hello in passing - you'll usually get a positive response, probably because you'll stand out a mile as the only guy with any manners!
Most of the men there now just look at me as if I'm an object, won't answer or even acknowledge that I've spoken to them - and most just sit a few yards off and stare, or worse stare and wank...
Guess how that makes me feel...? (Hint - sickening, and makes me want to give up on men for good...!)
Anybody who can show some respect will get respect back!
If a woman is up in the dunes than she's almost certainly looking for contact (not to be stared at!) - just please don't approach a single woman on the beach, because she's most likely just there for private sunbathing!

Haven't been this year, because of work and weather but are planning to go one weekend.
We generally stay in a b&b in Barmouth and happy to meet up with singles and/or couples a few drinks and take it from there.
See you soon. |

We have only ever visited Studland and enjoyed it there, Morfa Dyffryn sounds really bad, which is a shame as we were looking to go next week, but guys sitting by Us and wanking???
I'd freak out... How disrespectful.....
Has anyone been recently and does this happen frequently??
Feeling very put off..... |

I think you need to think of the beach and the dunes as two different areas.
I only ever go to the beach and that's very much a naturist area. If I see people up in the dunes (where nudity isn't supposed to happen, I believe) I'd assume they were looking for fun.
Not entirely surprised you see guys at it there, therefore.
I did see it last time on the beach with one guy, who somehow thought I was interested. I think the "lift may not go to the top floor" in his case though and he soon scuttled off once I had a firm word.
I'm hoping to go next week too - hope the weather is ok. |

"Looks like tomorrow (Sun 27th Sept) is going to be a very nice day there - I might go...
Anyone else interested...???"
Alas no, not with 5 night shifts ahead of me. Going to be like that for at least the next month.
How much more nice weather can we expect from Morfa dryffen before the weather turns too bad for nudity?

Hi guys, been thinking about trying a nudist beach for a while (don't know if this time of year is the best time to start though haha!). Had a browse through this thread for a bit more info and it sounds promising. Just a quick question... You all seem to be a bit older than me (hope none of you take offence to that!), would I be out of place or frowned upon for being a younger guy going there? |

"Heard about this place.. Would like to go in end on june.. Can anyone tell me more? Where to find accom?.. Easy acces?... Sex allowed on beach?.. "
There's campsites nearby and b&bs in the villages around there (one b&bs screams "run by swingers" to me, but I could be wrong!).
It's easy enough to find - plenty of directions on Google. I know it well enough, but would have to google to remember road numbers etc. It's a few miles north of Barmouth, left hand turn just before you get to a village (either Talybont or Dinas Arddudwy (sp?) I think). The turning is signposted "Traeth" which is Welsh for beach.
The nudist area is a fair walk. Sex on the beach is prohibited legally obviously. It's certainly not seen as acceptable by many or most. It's a beach for naturists. |

Dyffryn Ardudwy is the closest village. Turn left on Ffordd Benar which is just before you get to the village. Follow it for a few miles to Dyffryn Seaside Estate which has a carpark (left at their mini-roundabout and all the way to the end) which I think is closest - about a 15min walk north along the beach to the nudist area.
Take supplies there's no facilities there.
Sex on the beach is a big no-no but people get up to all sorts in them there sand dunes!!! |

It has been great beach weather for a few weeks now, just about warm enough for a paddle in the sea and if the wind is a bit chilly, you can find sheltered spots along the dunes. I've got quiet tanned recently!! |

Weather update here in southern snowdonia: it's shaping up to be a glorious weekend, cloudy but sunny start this morning, and warming up! Forecast is for sunshine and warm over weekend into early next week, so it's shaping up nicely!
I am planning to sit in the beach on Monday |

"Hi has camped on Dennis's field recently ? We normally stay on Benar but might be up for a change this time. Any info would be great thanks x"
Camped on Dennis's field a couple of weeks ago. It is fine for an overnight stay but there are no showers. It is possible to use the facilities in the next door dyffryn seaside estate, they have a bar restaurant and shop too. Dennis is very friendly and only charged me £6 for the night.

Trading some older threads, the walled field sounds a bit hit n miss, tends to be a bit random over his pricing.
If you want Denis's field, turn off main road at the small chapel, go to the end and turn right when near car park and toilets. Then turn right into field. |

Hi folks
Finally making it back to Morfa D next week sometime if the weather is reasonably good.
I love it there, but have been working all summer. Had some nice times there in September before.
I'm not expecting to have fun - I'd hate to be a meerkat. Just find it a liberating experience being on the beach .
I've never spoken to anyone in my times there really beyond a "morning, lovely day", so it'd be great to do so if anyone happens to be going. |
