It's struck me lately, (often during leisurely and generous breaks on the throne at work) how some stuff we do is a bit... Well, odd.
Take milk, for example. I mean, at what point did someone look out of the window at a cow, and think "You know what, I reckon I could drink some of that animal's fluids"? Did they try loads of other animals first, but persevered until they found one they liked?
And how did it catch on?
"Ug, Dave"
"Ug, Steve"
"Here Dave, you got anything to drink?"
"Well, funny you should mention that... I've got this new thing. Don't ask what it is, just try it first."
