A few want to meet up and do the Pen-y-fan walk.
Thought we could have a giggle and do it.
So here is the official thread.
I'm not arranging it but want to do it so, who else is in? |

"What's up there then? There's loads of people there every day......"
Google will be your friend for that.
It's a mountain walk, run if you're a mighty fit bastard. |

"I'll get a leather harness - don't be thinking I'm pulling you both up there though.
Can we ride you up there like a pony? We can take it in turns "
Can this just happen on pit stops?
Or do I have to prove to have the ultimate in stamina? |

West Wales and Cardiff |
I spend as much free time as possible walking in the Beacons, so would be interested in this.
I usually walk alone, so this would be, erm...."different"
One thing - The Storey Arms route is like Piccadiily bloody Circus. It's always hideously busy. Anyone else think it might be nicer to go from the Brecin side, or the southern loop from Neuadd Reservoirs (admittedly, the climb up onto the ridge is a bit of a slog though)!
Personally I think it's much nicer (and quitter) walking some of the other peaks, but happy to go with the flow. |

I don't mind being ridden like a pony in public wearing a leather harness and dog leashes (apparently)
But don't think the hardest route would be the best route so all can join in. |

definitely more peaceful going up from Cwm Gwdi side just a bit of a tougher climb. |

Unless somebody wants to give me a piggy back |

"I'd be up for this as long as newbies are welcome? "
Newbie? You've been on over a year.
Unverified members I'm unsure about, up to the masses on their comfortability with it as you could literally be anybody. |
