After a few conversations with numerous people last night.
That people for some reason think that as I do things in chams it is chams that pays.
Well I'm sorry to disappoint anyone but if I hold a theme night there I actually pay for the buffet myself and I pay to get in also.
People will prob say "why do it then"?????
My reply to that is is love the swinging scene and love the social side to.we have already lost a sat night in chams when it changed to couples only as people moaned they wanted a couples only night.so now all we have is a Friday night.
This is our only local club and i for one don't want to lose it so if I can help build up the custom and organise nights there I am will to do that and support the club
So they treat me just like ever

Most people wouldn't give their time up unless there was something in it for them, usually money! So when someone genuinely does something for nothing, some people are surprised. Fair play to you for giving up your time an putting the effort in  |

I must admit, I'd never given it a thought either way!
While it's awesome that you don't expect anything from them, I think given the amount of business you've brought to them, it would have been nice if they'd given you a free membership as a birthday present or something.

I agree - I was shocked when giggles told me she had to pay to get it - after paying for a buffet and attracting people to the club who may not have gone if it wasn't her mad hatters party. Ruthless business  |

Exactly what it is..if free memberships were dished out the business wouldn't be a business for long..but definitely should of provided a buffet...after all we all like a nosh  |

I know they appreciate what I do and I did have a present and card
I'm not slating the club or nothing like that I'm just shocked to hear that people think I get everything free when I have to pay just like everyone else does |

Exactly what it is..if free memberships were dished out the business wouldn't be a business for long..but definitely should of provided a buffet...after all we all like a nosh "

I think we're lucky across the board because all of our great socials only exist because people choose to run them, it's their own time & effort & sometimes at a financial loss. So I say thanks to all those who arrange such fun events, that enable all to get together x |
