"Anybody in Wales do the parkrun every Satuday? If so, which one do you do?
Whats your PB's? "
unfortunately the nearest Park run to me up north is more than 25 miles away
My best 5km time, though, is 21:38 |

Park runs are excellent fun and well organised
They often have mini runs for the younger ones, and some don't mind you bringing your pooch along.
In going to float the idea with Flintshire CC to organise a local one here at the weekends |

"I've got the Chester half marathon next Sunday, so taking it easy today, and probably just put in an 8 miler tomorrow .... tapering off "
Just seen this...how did Chester go? What was your official time? Got Swansea Half next Sunday, so parkrun will be a small stroll.
Both beat our PB today though, so a successful day! |

missed this post
I did it in 1:48:46
My target was 1:50 so really pleased.
Spent much of last year with one injury after another so this year wasn't aiming high
How was Swansea ? |

Parkrun is a great idea, Cardiff is spoilt for parkruns.
I did the Cardiff one, once last year. I keep meaning to do more of them. Lacking motivation for running at the moment, too cold and wet |
