Seeing as there are a couple of music threads kicking around..

What was your first gig?

Best you've been to?

Worst you've been to?

Mine:

Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream Tour

Metallica - Earls Court (cos I had backstage passes)

Stereophonics - Donington (might as well have been in a field listening to the record, nothing special about it being live)

Faithless. Never did find the heel of my shoes or my self respect after that. Seen more people from my home town than I have in my home town for years.

I much prefer recorded music, so I don't go to many gigs, and if I do I prefer small gigs, and I've only been to two, both were awesome, Status Quo, and Jethro Tull.

First gig Tears for Fears at the Brighton Centre.

Best gig Seasick Steve at The Victorious Festival last year.

Worst gig The Automatic in Brecon. One hit winders, Un reversed, shambolic and embarrassing. Also the acoustics in Brecon Market Hall are horrible.

Best gig is a tricky one. Seen richard thompson quite a few times at the cropredy festival. The man always leaves me dumb struck with his talent. But would have to say, for excitment, jethro tull at a very small venue was just awesome.

Worst was probably dave matthews band at the o2 wembely. They were just specks on the stage and they finished every song with a 20min jazz instrumental. Boring.

I've enjoyed all the artists I've been to see apart from the Rihanna concert

I was really excited to see her perform but so many people there and as a short-arse I couldn't even see the big screen

I didn't see Tom Jones when I went to see him in Ponty park either..... but that's because I was so pissed I missed the whole concert lol

Stereophonics was the first gig, early days when they were still decent.

More of a dance music fan so probably Prodigy, Leftfield or Chemical brothers been the best.

Biggest was Red hot chili peppers in Phoenix park, Dublin x
