Im 30 and don't have a single tattoo and its high time i got one!!!! best tattoists in South wales people?? i want a big black and grey rose on my foot with loads of shading xxxx |

Miss Ries in Newport does all mine her roses are beautiful
Black and grey work though has to be dom at raging swan..look at his Facebook and prepare to be blown away..
Pleaaaase do nottttt go to somewhere u can just walk in... do your research ..pay a deposit and wait .. months if you have to... you'll have it forever it's worth the wait xx |

I did have 2 red roses in different places as part of my sleeve but had them coloured over in yest in darker greyed black!! Love the roses they look nice  |

Agree with the thing about waiting times - you're going to wear it forever, it's worth waiting for a good artist. Physical Graffiti are great, and I've had some decent work done at Frontier Tattoo in Cardiff.
Check out some portfolios, have some chats with artists, find someone you're comfortable with. |

Chris Jones done the top half of mine then got all famous and couldn't book him for the rest, as it was Sam fisher has finished it off spot on, was in yesterday for inside bicep....I'm fucking raw! Ha x |

Chris is a right bog headed knob now..I remember him starting out in blackwood. ..now he thinks he's the king of ink..he's good. .but that attitude is shit ....
had inside arm..had armpit  had ribs but theeeee worst is under your boobs....yowzers..x |

You said it, but totally agree. And when he went on come dine with me...I was having my work done on my arm at this point and he thought he was a massive celebrity. It was cringeworthy seeing him in the shop the way he was acting!
Underboob...yeah can imagine thats not fun! And armpit...wow. Need to check this ink out sometime!! |

Check out as many Tattooists portfolios as you can as each one has different styles, until you find one you like.
A long waiting list is usually a good sign |

I can vouch for Gayle the work she has done on my back piece is amazing. Got loads booked in with her. Never spent 5 hours in the chair before and Gayle made It the most comfortable experience ever.

Just seen on Welsh news that 550 letters have been sent to customers of sun tattoo studio in Newport. Apparently some of their customers have been infected with hepatitis a helpline number has been set up but I didn't catch the number. |

That is why you need to ensure you pick a really good studio, dont just look at the art, look at the whole thing. Ask to see there license, ask to see the tattooists license as well. Look how clean the place is. We at Tattoo Inspiration were told by the carmarthenshire environmental health inspector that we were the best studio they have EVER inspected. Be warned it is not just about the Art...... |
