West Wales and Cardiff

I wouldn't say there's a big dance music one (though I could be wrong!), but Wales is actually an amazing place for festivals generally.

The following are all great events (not all are fundamentally music ones):

Green Man

Festival No6 (does have some great DJs)

Brecon Jazz

Hay Festival

Laugharne Weekend

Swn Festival

They're all right up there as festivals go. There's loads more too. I suspect you're looking for something a little more full on though

Have a look at the heaven and hell weekend thread in the Wales forum and also in the main one as something worth attending on here

My Ice Castle! South Wales

Monmouth has the biggest free music festival in Europe. Held over a week. In the car park at the bottom of town. Lots of different kinds of music.

Last year's together festival was amazing..It replaced escape in the park.. was all dance. Hard dance..butttt... There was a few corrupt organisers in on it last year..money went missing and it only just broke even..so...not sure if it's running this year..was wayyyy better than EITP though....

Why limit yourself to wales... There are so many good dance festivals..cream fields is awesome fir harder dance..edm etc..if you like house check out mint festival..last year's was the best event I've ever been to... also zoo project festival London. .. xx

Are there any festivals where you can shout at them to "turn that bloody racket down" if so count me in. I'll even bring my own pipe and slippers
