"Perineum, what's known as the "Banjo string" is the thin tissue on the underside of a guys bellend, connecting the foreskin"
this is actually called the frenulum (of which our bodies have 4/5 of). The perineum is the area of skin between balls and anus. |

From Perineus, god of the middle ground in Greek mythology.
'The two Titans, Anus and Bollix, fought each other with such force the gods of Mount Olympus were disturbed. Anus sought to swallow Bollix while Bollix tried to bludgeon Anus into submission. Zeus sent Perineus the diplomat to settle the dispute and he arranged for a middle distance to be kept between them. It would be forever tingly when fondled so that the gods would always know that all was right with the world. This middle ground is called the Perineum in consequence. ' Homer's Odyssey, Chapter VIII.
Warning: some of this mythology may be bollocks. |

The line in the middle of the perineum is called the perineal raphe, which them becomes the scrotal raphe and then penile raphe till it ends at the frenulum, linking the glans over the sulcus. Lots of pleasure nerve endings along this line. |
