Just read the news that one of my favourite clubs is closing, been going there since 2001 and had many happy memories. RIP escape!

Had many a mental night there in my pre-kid days. Sad news

Yeah it's v sad, had many fantastic nights there, so many states and top top Djs!!

Everyone has an escape story, and if you don't, you ain't lived!!

Surprised it lasted this long tbh. Kingsway nightlife been dead for years. The last of my old weekend stomping grounds gone now

Use to love that place but of a dive of a place but I thought it was amazing in clubbing days

Lol I use to go there before it was escape great place great nights wine street has taken over no where near as good

Many a fond memory of nights in escape.

Everything has a limit to its time sadly - the generation it used to attract are all pretending to have grown up now.

I know end up there most nights when I'm out. But not been for a few months not been out. Oxygen will have to do now
