Its a long, long way away but I know how much some of you like to plan ahead, I've already had several messages so here's the date. I'll put a thread up closer to the time but feel free to start here if you wish.
This social will take place at a venue in Bridgend on 21st March from 7.30pm till midnight. It is a social only event for verified Fab members. There is a theme for this one, Swing into Spring & I can't wait to see how some of you interpret that one  |

Right, I'm back from my little time out so let's get this social back on track.
Bridgend social 21st March 19.30 to midnight, let's all Swing into Spring at this social event which is aimed at bringing all you like minded people together for the evening. Bar, disco, raffle & lots of chat. This is a social only event & no naughtiness will be tolerated at the venue, what you do in your own rooms before & after the event welllllll.
Only members with at least one verification from a play meet will be allowed to put their names on the door list & only confirmed attendees will be allowed entry on the night, venue details will be shared with confirmed attendees the night before. So come on everybody, get your names down & make this a night to remember.

Hey peachy would there be any chance you could give me the names of a few hotels near the venue so I can check prices and stuff before I put my name down for the social. thanks emma x |

This social is only 7 weeks away so we really need to get a wriggle on & get the names in.
Remember it's a social night for likeminded fabsters to meet, chat, drink n dance, no naughty fun at the venue & a smart casual dress code. 7.30pm to midnight, £1.50 admission & you need to have at least one verification from a play meet to get on the door list. Come on lets Swing into Spring & make this an event to continue  |

If this social is to go ahead people need to get their names down, I'm giving it until the end of the month befoe malking a final decision, but for this social to continue, you need to support it with your attendance. It would be lovely to continue it as a small event for the faithful few who are on the thread already, but thats not enough to pay the venue cost.

It is with great regret that Jade & I have decided to abandon this social for the time being, unfortunately we are unable to run the event with only 30 attendees. Such a shame, a great venue booked for the year, a group of regular attendees, raffle prizes bought, all not enough to keep this popular little social going.
Many thanks to the loyal ones who have attended every event, you just may see us back next year if the demand improves X |
