Pontarddulais

I've used Three pay-as-you-go for years. Lots of add-on packages available but I don't bother because their basic rates are simple and dirt cheap (3p per min calls, 2p per text and 1p per MB data).

I'm on O2, coverage is adequate at best, price is fine. Don't even try going out of built up areas.

If you can wait till end of January you can squeeze a good deal out of any of them! they all have targets and January will be quiet for them.

For pay as you go yes, contracts there aren't as many deals in the January sales as it's about getting rid of stock quickly and easily. Plus they have all agreed to invest billions into improving the uk infrastructure so they won't leak money that easily for a while

Been able to get far better deal at very end of a month than 7 days earlier! To get a decent deal you have to be asked to be put through to cancellations.
