Umm it would probably only effect the worst kind of ‘Doms’. I.e those that think the D has complete control and power over the S.
A true D/S relationship both parties are aware the S is in control ultimately as it is her body and mind as she is choosing to give it over willingly to someone else.

I understand on the face of it consent seems to be the deciding factor. However in many cases the law sees it very differently. You cannot consent for someone to commit an illegal act. For example you can't consent for someone to commit criminal damage on your property, for someone to kill you or indeed for someone to harm you.
A case in point, many years ago, a group of guys from Cardiff were participating in extreme BDSM behaviour and were convicted of ABH and were even jailed. And that was under existing legislation.
I don't think we have seen the last of unintended consequences of these new laws. |

There is an even bigger issue, one that this web-site along with many others may be trying to ignore . . compulsory "age verification" for ALL users of "adult content web-sites", no matter where in the world they may be.

A woman being hit with paddles so hard it makes her arse purple and yellow with severe brusing is abh. It is out of the persons( giving or reciving) control wether or not a prossecution comes from it.
Same as a man who beats his wife it does not matter is she thinks its ok the police can still charge with the offence of ABH. |

Anybody beating an ass and leaving that level of bruising is probably inexperienced and indeed risking the chance of nerve damage.
I’m all for BDSM and informed consent. But there are too many ‘doms’ and Mr Grey wannabes out there. I’ve been caned and only left with a few lines. The dominant has to know where to strike, vary the strikes both in location and in force. |

Well, it's maybe only weeks or a month or two away, it's been known about and discussed by activists for almost TWO YEARS . . yet there isn't ONE WORD about it on this web-site which, if things go very badly, will simply disappear.
