Our shift patterns have just changed abd I now have to work days instead of afternoons Christmas day. Gutted. I have never missed Christmas morning with the kids since having my eldest 9 years ago  |

Aww that's real sad hun but you could always do what we're doing with family that can't make xmas day, we're having it on another day with all the trimmings and presents etc. So 2 xmas days instead! |

OUCH thas a bitch hun I feel for you I bet its gonna be hard for you to miss the morning isn't there any way you could swap just tha shift so you could have it with your kids x |

That's a kind thing to do. I will probably work boxing night for a friend to go to football as the rugby derby is on the Saturday this year. It's always nice to help others out if you can  |

That's the thing when you don't have shut down for Xmas everyone has to take a turn and it's not so bad if everyone does do their share. It's when you get people that won't that I think is selfish |

yeah I guess there is tha, my old job I used to work xmas day so I could have new years day off (to recover from the new yrs eve party lol) it worked great until I had my little boy then it wasn't so great x |

Spending my first xmas with my man eeeeeek....cant wait...have worked xmas in the past to give others time with their families etc...but this year...it's my time  |
