private venues incur costs of hiring etc. and collecting of monies ... If you're happy to do so.... 
choosing a more public location can bring its own complications ... but is generally simpler to organise |

been there done that i started the milford social worked well for a wile trouble is pembrokeshire people are shy waste of time most of the people who came were from the east i have a venue secluded needs organizing the amount of swingers we have here is amazing but small minds small towns i would be glad to organize more but without support and avoiding a meat feast its impossible took 10 years to find a venue but lack of attendance made it short lived i do have meetings at my house but mostly the dark side as kinksters are more reliable i have venues for socials but need attendees i can get no end of single guys but couples and females are a rareaty here there are some fantastic people here i know most of them but they are shy  |

Thanks for the messages guy and the offers of help. That's my fear Warren you spend week sorting it all out for the word to get out and it's ruined before you even get started, what location did you use in the last?
Would be great if any couples of females reading these post could leave a message if they might be interested in attending, just so it's easier to work out if it's worth doing. |

we have a lovely mid week social in a local pub try that but obv dont mention pub in forum cos forum is not for members only anyone can look. Maybe start with a small group of newbies or someting |

I looked into organising social for ceredigion/Pembroke about a year ago as the nearest social to us is over an hour and a half away. Only had a few single guy's show any interest and unfortunately decided to go no further with it.
It does seem the people in west wales are very shy and just don't do socials. We travel hundreds of miles for socials and a fare few pounds in fuel and hotels but we are not from west wales, lol, we just live here now.
If a social in Pembroke was started I am sure we would put our names down to attend. Hope this doesn't put you off giving it a go.

Love the idea of socials, and a more local one would be good. But in Pembs we are all bloody either related or work with each other, could lead to a fair few awkward looks amongst ppl lol |

This is so true it won't happen up here  to many ppl are worried about being seen and being talked about. I don't blame them as everything spreads like wild fire |
