We are looking to start a social event for North West Wales and surrounding area. We reside in Bangor and will be the area in which we look to host as there are a few places that would be good to use for a meeting place.
We hope to organise something on a monthly basis.
Just thought we would start a thread on here to see how others feel about this and if people would be interested in attending.
We have been swinging for quite some time and thought it was about time the area started having a social event

Will do! As soon as we have a few who show interest we can start talking dates etc. I will set up a profile that will be able to confirm dates and enable messaging to confirm any questions regarding location etc xx |

Well done Sarah and Matt for taking on the task I say! A most excellent of ideas and no better hosts to run it in my most humble of opinions!
As I am in a relationship now the "Social" would be a great way to introduce 'er indoors to the scene!
Will keep a beady eye on the forum over the coming weeks... & see what develops!  |

Our new profile is now set up which will outline any upcoming events etc. Also, if someone wishes to message with questions etc feel free to do so.
As a kindly reminder, please avoid using this profile as a way of trying to engage in sex talk or arrange private meets with us. Unfortunately, we have had a few people already try to do so. By all means message us privately on our personal profile for none social related content |

I think this is a brilliant idea , well done u for taking the bull by the horns so to speak . I have chatted with a few on here and have mentioned the fact that there are no social events organised in the north west , I like the thought of meeting like minded adults socially first , on here it's a bit of a meat market , it's only by meeting socially and chatting u get to know people....we'll done u , I will deffo be keeping an eye out for the date and venue ... |

Please feel free to send friend invites to the social profile to receive updates in your news feed.
1st event is likely to be a Saturday in November, however will confirm this in the near future. We understand not everyone will be able to make the first one, however we intend to make this a monthly event so there will be many opportunities we hope |

We have decided to Hold the first (of hopefully many) social on Saturday 8th of Novemeber. Further details of time and location will be on the GwyneddSocial profile shortly. It will be held in Bangor City Centre.

Just a reminder that the social is still to be held this Saturday the 8th.
Time: 7:30pm
Location: To be announced tomorrow as awaiting confirmation of table booking. Please note- location will be announced on the profile as we can not post it in the forums.

****ATTENTION****
WE HAVE MANAGED TO BOOK A ROOM TO HOLD THE SOCIAL IN A LOCAL PUB AT 9pm
I know it was later than orginally anticipated but the room is separate to the general public which will hopefully make more people comfortable and thus more likely attend without fear of being 'outed'
We hope the time is ok for everyone else and would really appreciate if you could confirm your attendance either here or private message.
The location will be put on the social profile tomorrow to allow people to get directions etc. We can not post here due to forum rules. We will post a status up to confirm when it is on there.
We greatly appreciate all your support so far and look forward to seeing you all there xxx |
