I played amateur and professional rugby for Pencoed, Maesteg and Bridgend and my 12 year old now plays for his comp and local club, we often watch rugby together, both codes, and sadly saw what Ben Flower did. A former team mate of mine knows him and has assured me he is a nice lad and it was totally out of character. What do I think ?.......I think Wigan should sack him immediately and he should be banned from playing professionally for life. The first punch was a sending off offence but was retaliation......but he had time to not throw the second punch, the other guy was already out !....I do not want my son seeing things like this on the rugby field |
