Sometimes, honesty does not seem to be the best policy! OK, I know that we all need to put in filters for age, and this is me having a bit of a sour grapes rant, but I will not deny the fact I am 55. I feel 35 and I am told I look and act way younger than I am, so I get a bit pissed off with people not even letting me chat because of my age being outside their range. In the meantime, there are lots of people lying about their age and getting away with it until they meet and you think, 'hang on a minute!!'
Yes, this will kick up a storm, but I am only trying to get a discussion going after all.
By the way, I am not one of the desperate, not getting any guys, I get my share. Just greedy I guess!  |

I'm happy to put my real age & find myself outside people's filters. When I was first on the site I was like everyone else & kept my age below 50,I got so fed up with the volume of mail that I changed & put my real age, therefore taking me out of the age bracket for lots of people, I've found it makes little difference, people still mail me & I feel better for being honest X |

Oh dear someone having a rant again lol. I can vouch for the fact that you definitely act and look much younger. You're bloody fab. Age is just a number after all and at 55 you still got it Mr S. Don't change who or what you are for anyone |

Seems it's guy's that lie about their age more than fems, i'm 52 at the end of the year, might look it but don't feel or act it. In my opinion it's sad anybody has to lie about their age, you are what you are........simples..... |

Everyone has age limits as this is preference but how strict they are on them is of course different for everyone.
Our age limits are flexible because as you said some people don't look or act their age. Everyone is an individual x

Damn, there was I thinking this thread would kick up a real sh*t storm! Everyone is being far too polite. Thinking about it though, you have to be pretty dumb to admit that you were lying about your age as you can't post anonymously. Maybe the usual suspects have something to hide?  |

well im 58 and think am one of the oldest on here mind you i do know of a few that say they still in 40s but good on them, if ya got it flaunt it, i cant flaunt its gone lol xx but it aint the age that has slowed my playing down lol  |
