So as i was a bit bored with the site.. and generally - plus having found several fake profiles (which i reported like a good little fabber)
Having been a profile mod on another adult site for some years i thought id do a little experiment so
I set up a FAKE FEMALE PROFILE ... just to see what would happen...
i dint like the strange men who do it call myself a "cum slut" or a "fuck Toy"
nor did i overtly set my profile out to entice or snare anyone..
So within minutes of going live (with very little text and no pictures) i got bombarded with messages
most by single men
quite a lot by couples (mostly claiming to be the fem half)
i had about 15 policemen *cough* yeah right *cough*... which considering ive never seen a bobby on the beat in my area prob explains why.
now as a gen single guy most of the drivle that fems moan about is .. bombarding YES i agree
Cock pics ..Yes there were a few.. but for the most part the guys did send a face pic and write a semi appropriate message
a few were completley desperate ..but thats life
i didnt get half as many arseholes as i was expecting
i also went in chat and same thing few dickheads but mostly polite
so my conclusion based on my limited experience with a vagina is it aint half as bad as you fems make out..
my biggest concern was the amount of "pushy" couples on here.. most i suspect were not true couples at all..
but thats for another fake profile when im even more bored.
i have now deleted the profile so no need to get twisted over it. |

Perhaps if you left it a few weeks you would have a different view. I have seen a few updates where different females are complaining of men threatening them and abuse. Completely intolerable behaviour. |

maybe but most of the guys seemed to get the message
but it is a numbers game and i would imagine the ratio on here is 75% guys so you will always have to bat those kind of numbers
the abuse and threats aint cool |

try a profile with a pic on it and see how you get on.
But I am with you, I don't think its the problem a lot of fems make out, just a lot of messages to trawl through, if you go on cam you can get 200 in the space of an hour, but there is a very handy mass delete button for those times. |

It shouldn't have to be 'as bad as us fems make out' at all. It's suppose to be fun not a chore. I've been on here and the scene for a while. All my filters are on. I took them off the other day and within 10 mins had my first abusive message. The very fact that genuine new single female profiles are new to the scene and bombarded with messages puts many women off. Poof - UNLOS as they are overwhelmed and think they have to reply thus increasing the number of messages. OP out of interest did you reply to every message? |

i did reply to every message - though i did copy and paste a polite no thanks to 90%
those that were rude or obvs cut and paste had my profile name wrong i just replied they should check the messages before they sent them.
i can apreceiate it would get old quickly replying to everyone.
but then lets be honest if ladies got that much attention anywhere else they woulndt be on fab checking messages lol |

no you missed my point - it wasnt a dig at women on here...
if anyone had someone in real life coming up to them every 2 mins - like the messages you get on here - youd get nothing done - simples
though most on here miss the point, men and women

I don't get much shit to be fair. And when I do, it's a relatively equal amount from both couples and single males. The only noticeable difference is around 80% of the single males get arsey/abusive when they don't get the response they want.. And therein lies the problem. |

agreed mav - from prev mod experience (which involved a bit more than the modding done on fab)
most of the issues came from people not accepting or acknowledging rejection.. no matter how politley or forcefully done.
i think the isssue is that some see fab as a shop window and its a buyers market .. when in fact the opppersite is true.
just becasue you can see a profile / pic doesnt mean that person is engaging with or has to engage with you.
people need to lose thier sense of entitlement |
