The amount of times i have gone into the wales chat lately and lots there but none are chatting .
Surely there are things to talk about? but mainly single men just there doing nothing.
unless people chat its pointless .

I think you have to become a regular visitor in the room to get into the banter and get to know people. also, evenings always have more couples. We don't go in much but have always found everyone to be friendly. When the room is full of singles we just go to another room.

a lot of them if not chatting are in pm but when you type something they will answer and join in most times  i went in one time and the only ppl in room were the ones who blocked me or i blocked them that was funny all names no chat |

thats my point i've been in chat from 2007 ish. Its got much worse there used to be a lot of banter .
I used to spend hours in there .caz never goes in and glad too with the shit i come out with |

Good topic actually as it gives us the chance to ask; is it a normal chat room as in IM. Or is it a webcam based chat room?
We wouldn't mind joining in with some chats etc but have no webcam besides iPhones, Windows phones and iPads.
Any kind of explanation would be gratefully received for us newbies lol xx |

I can't get the hang of it, it's like going to a pub and trying to chat too all in the pub at the same time, whilst they are also talking to everyone in the pub....  |

not really its more like being sat around a table with a lot of people in a pub they are all in hearing distance.
just start a topic or join another .you will soon get to know people and next time you will have someone who will say hi and maybe have something to say . |

I'm the same, it's too busy & when you do get the chance to say hi, more often than not no one responds & its missed. I can see it's popular with some, but not for me x |
