Strangely enough I've been discussing this exact thing with a few friends very recently, it would be interesting to see how many would be up for going to see whether hiring a venue would be worthwhile or not?

I don't think that would be a problem, if there's enough interest I've got some help and connections with venues and the like, let's just let this run a while and see what sort of numbers we get...

well I think its a very good idea but I also think that if there are to many socials spread over the different parts of south wales it would cut down the numbers of people and the existing social events would get numbers falling its just my opinion

We always worry about that but it never seems to happen, events always seem to be well attended x

How far up the valleys are you looking at. I know a pub where the landlord would be more than happy to hold a social event and is actually on fab x

I think any venue would be handy wherever it is, if the people looking to come are genuine they will go to it (if you build it, they will come!

you could always start by just meeting in a pub which has a good garden or large room no charge then progress from there. have fun whichever you do xxxx

Its great to have a possitive feedback off you all! There are people here in the small towns not just the the cities that would like to go to a social but aint got transport so why not come to us for a change! It can only be better for it!

The pub is in Bargoed. There is a private function room upstairs x
