Chams and the single guy?

I'm interested in visiting Chams in Newport but I'm a bit apprehensive as a single guy. Anyone have any experience of being single in chams and what it was like? I know all too well that single guys get a tough time here (and granted because of a "few" it's probably deserved!) and hoping it would be friendlier or more relaxing there?

Friendlier or more relaxing?

In a word.... no!

To be fair though, how you are perceived will have more to do with how you conduct yourself, if you join the usual single male "conga line" and follow the couples around you'll be about as popular as a turd in a jacuzzi lol!

Best advice?

Sit in the bar area, chat (to both halves of the couple!) make friends, and don't expect anything.

Must walk around with my eyes closed as I've never seen a conga line of single guys at Chams
