Might be due for a profile re write no meets since 2010 . Might say to some females or couples rightly or wrongly single guy split up with mrs . Also be more positive . Will have early phone contact will meet socially not will you have to . Just suggestions . Or hit the socials ? Tried that ? Even in the best jobs you could .xx |

Ironically it's a damn sight easier to get on and meet people on Facebook.
There is no politics on there and cuts through the pretentious bullshit....

I read these threads & I'm not entirely sure what the singles guys on this site want anymore, well I know it's sex they want, but surely like women they want to have it with someone they LIKE. Am I really being naive or do they just want all us fems to lay down open our legs & mouths & oblige regardless  There used to be no problem getting a face pic from a guy or having a quick social before agreeing a meet, nowadays they're all aimed at the quick fuck n suck. People treat this like facebook because they have no concept of what "swinging" is. Recent press interest (bites tongue) had allowed what was once a closed and well established community to become nothing more than an open shop for people who are trying their luck. When they realize that the site simply isn't instashag they protest and complain in the forums.

If you havent had a meet in four years, then I would suggest you are doing something wrong.
In that time you have probably missed at least 25 socials, which, as we all know, are a great way to put faces to names, make friends and hook up for fun.
Swinging isn't all about sex, (although that is a lot of fun lol!), and if that's your entire focus on here, then I'm afraid you are going to run out of people to interact with very quickly! |

No I'm not complaining! I'm just saying I'm on here to meet people! People can put what they want on their profile, when I see it written, like you say I just move on. But when you've spent days talking and they make out that there's a possibility of meeting, even if that's for a social chat to decide that you both feel you can take it further. Then it turns out they have no intention of meeting!! How many comments, either on profiles or forum have you seen " this site is full of time wasters " and I'm just pointing out I think that's the reason !! |

They just not want to meet you, or like me last year, they have health issues & can't meet for full on fun for a while but are still open for sedate fun with those they know & trust. So people can't change their mind then ? I thought they could , you could have said something that put them off meeting you ? Or your attitude could have put them off or they just might have realised the sex you both liked wasn't the same ! Firstly you have every right to post on the forums, because you "offended" someone, it doesn't mean you should run to the hills and cower in a cave. Take it with a pinch of salt there are loads of people who would offend without a seconds thought and lets not start on the popularity contest that manifests it's self on times. The forums are for debate and discussion.
Anyway on the premise that anyone who should start talking to you decided to take it to the fun side you receive a photograph from them only to find they are not as they have described and you find them unattractive. You decide to abandon the potential for a meet and take it no further. So on your reasoning you should now be banned.
If people have no intention on playing and want to use the site as a substitute for crapbook you soon find out. I think it's called due diligence |

yes this site has definitely become a sort of split site.
Those who want to meet and do what the site is supposed to do and those who use it as a facebook type substitute.
The amount of not meeting at the moment profiles has grown a lot.
That said if you use the site as intended it takes a lot of time and effort attending socials and building up a group of friends and regularly keeping in touch with them.
Most of all not messing people about and being nice.

I think you nailed it on the head there.
My experience from being part of a swinging couple awhile ago is that a lot of guys just use it when they are horny to scratch an itch. Minimum effort on there part. They deam it a sex site and just expect the the women to put out. They have no real interest in the person or making fun for everyone so long as they are satisfied.
(Sorry for the generalisation)
There are a lot of people on here that have forgotten or don't really understand the term swinging and the fun that can be had from it when the effort to develop a fun friendship is made.

I don't know if it's just me, but I feel that this site has changed a lot over the years. I used to enjoy it - the intelligent conversation and banter, and getting to meet interesting people who were polite and sociable.
Now, it seems that whenever I start to connect with somebody and get in the mood to meet, it just gets all offset by such a string of dumb and often insolent messages from people that it kills the mood dead.
I try to ignore them, but the sheer volume and lack of respect has an impact.... I can't be insensitive..
I want to meet nice people that I get on with, but I'm so tired of this yo-yo of emotions -
Off to do another re-write of my profile, though I'm running out of ways to say what I want!

I agree. And I think this is, in no small part, due to this site being free. Its very easy to register and you can be messaging people in seconds.
I don't get half the shite on a pay to use site. People who are willing to pay (a modest fee) tend to be more interested in the swinging side , and less at being pic collectors and fantasists. I know there are exceptions to the rule, but generally this is my observation.
If I could block everyone who isn't at least a silver supporter I would. I know that lots of my meets are from non supporters, but sometimes I wonder if the hassle of all the timewasting and keyboard warriors is really worth it.
I know that I would spend less time here, and probably get more meets.
Something needs to be done improve the signal to noise ratio! |

Just because peeps dont shout from the rooftops about their conquests (tho that implies that its a competition) it doesn't make them less of a swinger. In our view swinging is about mutual pleasure, its not repacing anything that's missing, merely increasing it! Although we do appreciate that others are free to an opinion, we do object to be frowned upon when we dont disclose what's gone on behind closed doors.
It's a lifestyle choice that some if us like to be protected from family etc.

Never posted here before but the topic peaked my interest. Haven't yet had any meets despite being inundated with messages. Its quite a daunting thought doing a random meet but though a social would be perfect to get to know some people and maybe open a few doors. We asked and were rejected as we don't have any veris and they don't accept newbies which is fair enough, if those are the rules . However for some people very very new to the scene, it just seems very cliquey and difficult to get to know true and honest people. So basically its easy enough to say get to socials and meet people. No so easy to do it. |

It's also hard to judge who is true & honest so veris are a great way of building that trust !!
No one will want to meet a newbie with no veris as it's generally a waste of time as the majority are fake, dreamers or just too scared to turn up
A social or a coffee meet with a few people to show that you are true and honest will do the trick so now it's down to you !!!!! |

"I don't know if it's just me, but I feel that this site has changed a lot over the years. I used to enjoy it - the intelligent conversation and banter, and getting to meet interesting people who were polite and sociable.
Now, it seems that whenever I start to connect with somebody and get in the mood to meet, it just gets all offset by such a string of dumb and often insolent messages from people that it kills the mood dead.
I try to ignore them, but the sheer volume and lack of respect has an impact.... I can't be insensitive..
I want to meet nice people that I get on with, but I'm so tired of this yo-yo of emotions -
Off to do another re-write of my profile, though I'm running out of ways to say what I want!

Although I appreciate the person on there feelings for the sight I have to say, personally yes I haven't been meeting a lot and also awaiting an operation ,but stay on here to have a look and speak to people that I have got to know ,so based on that and some comments does that mean I ,am one of those who needs to delete profile ? Just remember although they may not put it on there status there maybe a reason there not meeting at the moment xx bangers |
