Planned a big elaborate proposal in a very public place, with the help of friends, and she said yes, after she finished crying tears of joy. I'm a big softy at heart. |

 Thought I was hopeless at it but will await Saphs response to this and if I am wrong .......... oh well here goes.......
Flowers delivered with a balloon, roses and chocolates all the way from a place far far away and a telephone call just as they were delivered.
That was the day she fell in love with me all over again and started to plan our wedding
4 years later we will be married Roll on June |

Surprised my ex with a weekend in Paris with rose petals, flowers, wine and chocolate in the room. Don't think we left that room all weekend.
Unfortunately, I'm alone this Valentines Day.  |

I used to send my ex flowers at work or would have them waiting for her when she got home usually every couple of weeks. I would run a bath before she got home and light candles and sprinkle rose petals in the bath. Or I would spread the rose petals under the duvet of her side of the bed as a surprise before she got into bed. But just like dqnic find myself alone for this valentines, the first for a few years.  |

I can be romantic done a bath before for a ex I was with filled with bubbles n real rose petals n candles all around and done a cd of her fav sobgs while I was cooking a nice steak dinner then when she got out a back massage foot rub and her fav film pretty women. |

I don't mind admitting I'm a bit if a softy..
Stopped an ex on her way to work in valentines day and have her a card. She was late so didn't stop to read it.. After chasing her down and stopping her she saw her card and that I had organised a weekend in Paris.. Bags packed, work told, let's go
I should have married her !!  |

I can be romantic. Last year for my ex birthday I booked a night in a 5star luxury hotel booked a massage evening meal and had rose petals and champaign waiting in the room.
Iv got plans with her for this valentines day somthing very similar |
