A bit of fun.
What did you used to believe was real until one day someone put you straight????
I better start.
When I was very ickle my dad, for reasons known only to him, convinced me one day that race horses only run on three legs. Apparently if you looked really carefully you would notice that the forth one never actually touched the ground while they were running. Saves time hence they ran faster!
Although always doubtful I was well into my teens before this little gem was put to rest after seeing some slow mo horse running on TV.   |

I was told if you ever get chased by a badger, (you never know!), you should run down hill because they have short front legs they can't run down hill. They trip over!

I was told the same but it was haggis not a badger until I was told in my teens what haggis was. Lol  |
