So, I'm going to be in Cardiff on the 2nd and 3rd of December in business, and am looking at booking my hotel ....

I've stayed plenty of times at the Novotel and Mercure Holland House.

But does anyone have any other personal recommendations ?

Unsurpassed in both quality and service, Jolyon’s boutique hotel boasts six individually-designed bedrooms, lavishly furnished with bespoke furnishings, designer decor, sumptuous beds, beautifully adorned en-suite bathrooms (with one boasting a relaxing whirlpool and another an ultra modern wet room) and luxurious finishing touches (including silky soft sheets, fluffy towels, cosy robes, tea and coffee facilities, the finest toiletries, free Wi-Fi and TVs) that have been carefully chosen to make your stay as comfortable and convenient as possible.

SOUTH WEST & WALES

The Park Plaza is our favourite. Good leisure facilities and a nice bar. Standard rooms are on the small side but ok for two. Beds are big though .....

Pillows were invented to keep the noise down, just don't hold it down too firmly

Thanks everyone

I'm going to be booking The Royal (great rates at the moment).

Entry is a bugger because of the door security, but then I'm not looking at having an orgy in the room
