Spring is in the air and all the birds are singing in the trees. If you could choose, what bird would you most like to be and why?
Think I'd like to be a bird of paradise. The female tends to be a little dowdy...but have you seen the males she attracts lol? They are beautiful creatures and know how to treat a lady.

Nice choice kitt...am sure the lucky men in question would agree lol. The robin is one of my fave birds.
The robin is supposed to have got its red breast from being pierced by one of the thorns from Christ's crown as he was being crucified. |

Have been lucky enough to see the UK's biggest bird soaring above Ben Nevis. Admittedly the pair of golden eagles we saw were just mere pinpricks in the sky but nonetheless, seeing them was a thrill. A very majestic bird...good choice mart. Or is it jayne lol? |

Since we already have a very beautiful bird of paradise in the Wales room, have had a rethink and Sean came up with this one. We'd like to be a pair of swans as they mate for life. He's a soppy sod but I love him for that. |
