I love a glass of wine of an evening as it helps me relax and unwind..
I used to drink nothing but white, until I went to work in Mallorca and discovered Rioja....now it's a firm favourite as well as red in general
so what's yours and why...or why not, if you don't like it? |

"Have you tried the California rosa called Barefoot really nice but far too easy to drink"
I like the shiraz of that...mmmm nice
I also like one called siglo saco, that's quite expensive but well worth the money |

I wouldn't know a good wine if got up and bit me in the ass!
A friend who classes himself as a bit of a wine buff once opened a few bottles from his cellar, on New Years Eve, in order to try and educate me.
He covered the labels (dunno why, like I said, I don't know wine from shinola!) and gave me a taste of each.
I put them in order of preference... and he then broke the bad news..... the one I considered piss.... was, in the shops, about £40 a bottle!!
Guess I'll stick to Lambrusco by the pint!

I like red ,white and rose .i love it all .i like good red. Wines but white and rose I don't see any difference really .i love a white grannache which looks like rose .red wine should always always be d*unk at room temperature though not chilled mr and mrs lick .you don't experience the flavours and aromas as they are intended if its chilled .and you should let it breathe for an hour .we went on a wine tasting course on a cruise a few years back.we just managed to get pissed for next to nothing though on good wine .i refused to spit it out as it was too good to do that and also finished the bottles they opened .bad pissed pervy poppyxx |

After a few years in France I do like French wines. Haut medoc for a first choice, Saumur reds are easy drinking, regular favourites a south western region Madiran.
rose cotes de Provence.
white, muscadet as it's clean on the palate and I know there vineyards.
