Great thread and totally agree, Why Judge?
To answer I think we all judge at some point BUT discretion on how you deal with what ever you have judged is key. We have been "judged" and "labelled" as time wasters, wanna bees etc etc purely because we choose who we want to play with and when. To those who "judge" and then "broadcast", get over yourselves and jog on

I think the word "judge" is overused these days as surely of you genuinely believe something is true. Then it doesn't make you a judger. Otherwise you would judge everyone no matter what. That's all I can say on the matter incase banning arises, lol. |

judg·men·tal
[juhj-men-tl] Show IPA
adjective
1.
involving the use or exercise of judgment.
2.
tending to make moral judgments: to avoid a judgmental approach in dealing with divorced couples.
Of course the "Judgemental also "tag" people as timewasters, wanna bee's etc. We don't think the word is over used in the context of the original post, but as always the complete lack of discretion is and probably always will be an issue, and just in case......
dis·cre·tion

the power or right to decide or act according to one's own judgment; freedom of judgment or choice: It is entirely within my discretion whether I will go or stay.
2.
the quality of being discreet, especially with reference to one's own actions or speech; prudence or decorum: Throwing all discretion to the winds, he blurted out the truth.
Idioms
3.
at discretion, at one's option or pleasure: They were allowed to work overtime at discretion
