I'm sure most women prefer a guys with tattoos makes the body far more interesting to look at.... Well worth the pain/pleasure of having them done!!

The tattoo attracts and also repels precisely because it is different.

Hey Danny, I'd love to see that pink shirt! Sounds lush. Yes, I agree clothes are the true "body art".

I agree 'pathetic' was a bit harsh. I think I'm just bored with seeing the same old tattoo's now everywhere I go & usually in-yer-face though they're in no sense a majority lol thankfully.

I believe the body you're born with is already beautiful and cannot be enhanced by ink stains.

Oops! This thread is a good-tempered discussion about TATTOOS, for & againtst, or in the words of the OP love or hate them, NOT about the people who buy them.

At no point has anyone made a value judgement about the value of the people who have tattoo's (which would be judgemental).

I simply hold the view that the beautiful, luminescent, kissable skin you're born with does NOT need graffiti scrawled all over it.

By the way if your skin's not that luminescent there's always Lucci's Youthful Essence Microderma Abrasion System from Boots lol.

"Graffiti?? Have you seen the quality of artwork these days?"

It is artwork when it's applied to canvas or paper 'cos these need enhancing.

It is graffiti when applied to human skin which doesn't need enhancing & the skin is spoilt by it (as grafitti spoils a building or monument)

canvas or paper doesn't NEED to be enhanced, it is enhanced because the artist WANTS to do it. I have tattoos because I WANTED them. I suppose you see make up in the same light then, as no one actually NEEDS make up either.

"Do most women love them or hate them!? "

I'm not bothered by tattoos on others, I have 3 myself. If someone has them I'll look., I don't care whether someone has them or not, its a personal thing at the end of the day. The only thing that bugs me about tattoos is the silly cartoony ones teenagers tend to go for, each of mine has a reason behind it, none of them were done just because I felt like it/ a friend had one etc.

Yes, it is art on the canvas or paper but not inside your skin. In art creation paper NEEDS enhancement, skin doesn't as it is already gorgeous.

Your make-up comparison is a joke right??? Unless you're thinking if having your make-up embedded forever the sane under your skin, there is no comparison.

I bull have 9 so far, having one finished of this saturday, and planning on having more, mini minx loves my tatts and so have most the girls I've been with. I've choosen tatts on different things, like they have a meaning to me, or its something I wanted, thens been one occasion I went into the tattoo palour and picked one of the wall. Personally all mine can be hiden and are there for my personal joy and I rather that and have something I like and can keep forever than a piece of clothing that can be changed with the passing fashion to make my self look appealing to other people. But hey just my thought

as I said, make up isn't needed yet I'm sure you don't have a problem with women who wear it.

Also some women do opt for semi permanent make up, try googling it.

As for - "This was re : ""Id love you to go to my artists shop.look at the artwork in shop" - if its the tattooist I think it is, her work looks as good on skin as it does on paper.
