Brown sauce- the sausages neutralise the saltiness of the bacon, which is what the sweetness of ketchup would have done, brown sauce is normally more acidic than ketchup (providing it isn't the really cheap stuff!) so the acidity is needed to balance the richness of the sausages.
Ive researched this far too much for my liking! lol |

It's brown with bacon sarnie, brown with a sausage sarnie, tommy k with sausage if you having chips or mash and brown with a fry up! The only acceptable substitute for brown is English mustard with a sausage sarnie, and then only if its cos you ran out of brown! |

The only acceptable substitute for brown is English mustard with a sausage sarnie, and then only if its cos you ran out of brown! " or sandwhich pickle or red and brown and mustard together with some mayo thats fab with a sausage .i just lie naked sausage though .yummy .juicy sausage mmmmmmmmm.my mouths watering .popppyxx |
