anyone interested in a SWINGLE social, you know just for the singles, so so many lovely couples ere i know but overwhelmed by couples, so if anyone gonna organise a single social that would be good as well  |

Now bet there would be some fun to be had for all us swingles at a social ... shame most 'SINGLE' guys tend not turn up for the regular ones though ... probably cus their wives and girlfriends want to know where they going on a Saturday Night !!!
Would be interesting to find out who is actually SINGLE lol !!
If you really think this would work then you got my support and help if you need it and am sure the girlies would enjoy a 'fab swingles' night out. Wouldn't matter where it was either cus we would all be Single !!
So come on you SINGLE GUYS you up for this or what ????? |

I think a singles social is a great idea, but agree with Suze, how many won't be able to come because they're partner/spouse would want to know where they were!!! I've met a few who say they are single on their profile and even have the gall to say they can accom when later you find they can't as they're married/living with someone!!
Same goes for women though so I'm not being sexist!

tis just a thought thats all, cos i love m y couple friends but I dont play with couples hence my wondering about a SWINGLE Social, maybe I have one at my house but gotta buy two easy chairs for back room then maybe I have a smaller social SWINGLES only at home |

someone said "what if people put thier name down and don't come"
If attendees have to pay a nominal fee, do it ticket only advance payments.
If it will be free entry, take and advance deposit of £10 and on arrival give everyone a £10 drinks voucher for the bar, if anyone doesn't turn up use thier deposits to buy drinks for those that did make the effort |

chips hun i agree but as I said i know the singles anyway its just an idea not sure if it will come to anything, i think i will start with a smaller social at home can take about 20 30 ppl i think ere but im still thinking on it |

hope it goesd well for you kits as when i was playing there was hardly anythiing for the singles the best parties i went to were the ones that were hosted by sungle fems |

sinns I have hosted parties before for certain fab members, but never joined in myself tho, no this is more on the lines of a single social at home, cos i think lot of singles get a bit of a raw deal xx |

I'm pretty new to this, and am definitely single lol.
I'm finding it hard to meet people at present. Its human nature to think that most guys on here are attached and playing away, but I am not, and would welcome a swingles meet with open arms. I would love to find a partner with whom we could act out all our fantasies as a couple, but just need to be given the chance, so I say BRING IT ON! Count me in |

Perhaps this is something we could look at doing in April after the Swansea social. Doesn't have to be at someone's house. We could arrange to meet at a pub in Cardiff.

I'm new to Fab and a single male. I haven't got any experience of socials yet but it sounds like a good idea to me.
Might be a high male to female ratio though but that's something the girls might enjoy?
Hope to go to the Cardiff one on 27th so interested to see how people react to a (not too unsavory) 47 yo single male.

I went to my first Social last night in Cardiff and enjoyed chatting to people there. Everybody was friendly when approached but I think it would have been much more enjoyable if I had been in a couple, and not a swingle newbie!
A lot of people aren't interested in 47 yo swingle males, fair enough.
I hope you get this Singles Social off the ground. It would be good providing it's not swamped with single men like men lol

Actually, the issue of ratio is a very tricky one.
As I understand it, for every 5 single men that put their name down, 1-2 might turn up.
And while some ladies would like a nice high ratio, others would feel intimidated, and there would be the inevitable crowding/pestering/trailing of the aforesaid single women.
I think it may be a better idea in theory than in practice, unfortunately |

it is a good idea, i went last night and it was ok but as a single guy i felt it could of been better. i am thinking of having a party at mine for singels a kinda meet. if anyone is interested e mail me and i will see what the responce is and take it from there.
