Generally the clit itself isn't pierced, its the little bit of skin at the top called the hood, and you can get it pierced in one of two ways - vch vertical clit hood where the bar is in a 12 and 6 o clock position and horizontal which is usually a ring for this type of piercing is at 3 and 9o clock. I've met several ladies over the years that have had it done and no one has ever said anything negative about it, definitely heightens pleasure and makes long bumpy bus journeys that little bit more exciting:
Procedure itself is quick, wouldn't say painful but a bit uncomfortable and you should abstain from sex for around 3 weeks and then take it easy for a while or you could do some irreversible damage.
Risks are you could lose some sensation not gain - do your research with piercing artists and cleaning is easy with daily salt water soaks. Pheww... That took a while to type but hope you find it informative  |

No problem I was meant to go 3 weeks without after having my piercing, went 3 days and even after that long I was climbing the walls! Couldn't wait to try it out! You could still get it done but just avoid that little man and his boat for 3 weeks! |

Me n Mia supposed to be having it done soon, that's of she remembers to make the appointment 
Mind you last time I went to have it done I was told they couldn't do it because I have a blood vessel running through the area, so blood vessels move? |

I'm sorry I cant think of any more boat related double entendres!
My piercing cost 40 and that was going back 10years ago so maybe with the recession and inflation you'd be best of applying for a second mortgage!x |

I would definitely advise waiting the 3 weeks after a PA, the pain is an experience to say the least!takes some getting used to.
The piercing itself was very quick and easy, uncomfortable but not painful - you can get it numbed if you wanted but for the sadists out there (me included) go without :P
Cleaning is a doddle! Drink plenty of fluids - urine is sterile so every time you go for a Jimmy riddle you're cleaning it and daily salt water soaks too |

doesnt hurt..quick Sting..heals immediately..
As its literally membrane its the quickest piercing to heal. Self cleaning etc xx
