You may find that there are packs of couples in this particular forum that don't take kindly to a well meaning thread/advert that is slightly different or seeking attention.
Some of the comments particularly in the wales forum overstep the mark of teasing becoming rather hurtful.
I open myself up for 'attack' by posting this comment/opinion.

Some of the comments particularly in the wales forum overstep the mark of teasing becoming rather hurtful.
I open myself up for 'attack' by posting this comment/opinion.

ive gone to post a few times then thought against it as ive not wanted bitchy replies in case ive made a spelling error etc

Thing is:all the Doms we have met from here have a profile writeup which let's people in NO doubt that he does know the scene.Includes pics and veri's for further confirmation.None repeat NONE of all the Masters + Doms we know from here or other sites would EVER put adverts out in your style.
You are free to post your ads how YOU like as the rules state but don't be surprised that it raises eyebrows in other EXPERIENCED kinksters.

“a superior attitude towards others with less experience” it does not sound like an elitist attitude, more like an opinion from a more experienced point of view, I fail to see the problem.
As the OP is stating that he has 10 years’ experience (which has now been removed), one would expect the profile to be more informative regarding the kink side, yet the opening sentence highlights a vanilla life style and when questioned on the very point he is trying to raise (kink) the response is “ I don’t really want to give too much away” really?
Now if the op had said he knew Jedi sex tricks I can understand the secrecy.

There are a number of people who appear to lay into anyone who does not form part of a clique or posts in the wrong place ( their place?)
I felt the desire to defend the op purely by the negativity towards him.
Why do people feel the need to shred a profile in public, most of you went for him like a pack of rotweillers, the rest jumped on the band wagon in some form or another.
So what if his profile is not accurate, so what if he has met a smoker when he says he doesn't!
This all started because he put an attention seeking advert in the wales forum....
Is it really neccessary to pounce?
What does it prove other than show or project an image of some of the characters on here?
Broad shoulders are needed at the best of times posting on a forum but there is something rather negative about the welsh forum - sometimes....
I have no problem adding comments, reading forum posts in the lounge or general rooms, but some of the things i read from people in this room in the past has made my stomach churn for the op.
There is a fine line between debate/discussion, and unneccessary belittling of someone.
I would love to see encouragement or positive advice given by some of the long standing regular forumites which would possibly change the mindset of those too scared to post in this room in particular
