A status update like "haven't had sex in 6 months getting desperate" is pathetic.

Crikey naughtybut....you say you're confident in your profile.....maybe you could look into 'tolerant' and 'understanding' and work with those along side 'confident'. The OP may well have taken your response as rude.... just a thought

I can't remember how many times I have given advice to guys such as the op only for them to bitch a week later and not take the advice given, I now have zero tolerance for guys who post such things.
If they weren't so impatient and fucking lazy and used the search function they could get the information that they need to get meets. Its not rocket science, or shall we advice them to bombard single women and couples for a meet until someone gives in ummm maybe not  |

Everything that you said to him naughty was right, however did you get your profile right first time when you came onto the swinging scene as personally I didn't have a clue what to write , I think the message could have been put across in a helpful and friendly way and did the guy a favour if you were going to take the time to write such an detailed discription of how he was going wrong but hey that's just me its nice to be nice |

Newprofile. I'll assume that was sarcasm.
There is one distinction about feedback and sarcasm you might find invaluable.
1) acceptable is when you give feedback - no matter how direct - on what someone has said, written or done. These things are transitory (look it up in a dictionary) and can be changed, improved and learnt. This is what I did.
2) unacceptable - this is where you attack the person rather than their words, actions or behaviours. This is unacceptable as it is a very underhand, sly and pointless exercise. This is what you did with your comment to me. People can develop with 1) no matter how direct. People take offence at 2), hold grudges, take it personally and go on the counter attack.
It's a good job I am a nice soul and I fully understand the implications of 1) and 2). |
