Nicked Photo... How to deal with Profile in question?
Jump to: Newest in thread
Hi All,
Has anyone any advice on how best to deal with a profile that's nicked a photo from ours and placed on their public profile...?
I guess it can be quite a common occurrence but first time to our knowledge it's happened to us...
Cheers... |

Carry on reporting but when the option comes up with what you want to message , message them all bombard them sometimes it's the only way
With regards to them using pics of a meet between yous , it's disrespectful for them to use without consent but I think you need to say no to pics done by others from now on , it's the only way you can protect yourselves
Hope its sorted |

It's a crime to show intimate images or videos, send them to another person, upload them to a website, or threaten to do this, without your consent. This includes so called 'revenge porn'. Revenge porn can be a form of abuse. |

"Yea report
Fake profiles won't hang around long
The profile in question has 17 verifications but has decided to use a photo from one our meets on his profile..."
One of your meets with him? Or a meet with someone else? Have you asked him why |

When you go to their profile and report, select unauthorised use of photo or image.
Then also go to the photo itself and report it.
You may also want to message them and remind them it is illegal to upload someone's intimate photo without consent.

Thanks to the people who responded with advice...
Seems like the individual has a profile in Wales and one over the Bridge...
Apologies for the apparent false alarm but good to know folks in this community are willing to lend a helping hand when needed...
Happy New Year
