Rock & Metal live just can't be beaten for me. Been going to festivals for 30 years and still can't get enough.
Can't wait for Those Damn Crows in December, always a fun gig even if they are on the tame end of my spectrum. |

It’s one we haven’t done but on the list to do. I follow Vicky Hungerford on SM … it sounds a great festival! Not commercialised like Download is becoming unfortunately . We’ve been for many years now and finding it’s not for us anymore! Although I love the people, music and vibe… it’s not what it was! Time for us oldies to move aside haha 😛 |

Gave up on Download 2011 ish whole set up is a nightmare.Done the old monsters of Rock.Bloodstock been going since the beginning Brilliant festival you should give it a try you will enjoy capped at 20.000 now.

We grew up with Tonypandy Ath, The Dog and Muff, The Pop Factory in Porth and Tom's in Treforest. Good times specially the bank holidays where all of them would hold gigs. |

Metal head here, I don't get to enough gigs for my liking but I have been to bloodstock for the last two years and got my ticket for next year, that line up is insanely good. Also finally got to see Lorna shore last year which was incredible |

I've been a metal head since I was 10. Seen Maiden 26 times since '86 / Megadeath twice, Pantera / Alice Cooper twice / Metallica / Slayer / Nuclear Assault...more bands than I've had hot dinners. Also played on the same bill as Extreme Noise Terror and Napalm Death when they were still an underground band - I was 16 or 17, haha. Bartender said he couldn't pay us but free drinks all night.
You can't beat a bit of metal.

The download line up this year seems to be a bit of a mess so far, like they can't pick a lane. Some bands I am absolutely down to go see like sleep token and Lorna shore, and meshuggah are always awesome but a lot I'm very take it or leave it like Weezer. I'll probably end up sticking with bloodstock. |
