West Wales is the same. I think it’s a combination of a low, rural, spread out and slightly conservative population and small town syndrome; where there’s a fear everyone knows everyone else.
Cities tend to have younger populations, and it’s easier to be anonymous in them.
There are some lovely people on the scene out here, but there’s also a lot of voyeurs, who are, for whatever reason, on fab a lot of the time, but never meet.
There are other benefits living here though, so you just get used to the rural version of fab. |
