You've got to think the person your winking or messaging is probably getting hundreds of other winks or messages.
If your a woman on this website your going to get spammed even if you block males you will still get winks and messages from couples and other bi women.

I rarely look at winks and they definitely aren't a good way to stand out. It's bad enough we have to refresh the message page to see new ones but there's zero notifications about winks so highly likely to be missed unless we are intentionally looking at that page. By which time you're likely not online anyway. |

As I often say on similar threads it's a pointless action in my opinion; I don't send winks. Indeed I haven't sent one for over three years, other than those which are part of a forum game or a challenge (an equally pointless exercise). I've sat next to women at socials who have shown me their 'wink tally', with the number varying between 350 and 600++ winks from men. |

I personally look at winks and if I like what I see and read I will message and thank them for the wink
Sadly tho a lot of people don't read my profile so they think their winking at a single lady so it can be a bit awkward |

I think the "wink" option / feature..
Whilst we'll intended. Like a lot of thinks on here tends to get lost die to sheer volume

I would tend to assume.. there is a high chance of being lost in the ether |
